Malacca- Heritage city

A short backpacking trip to Malacca city (Malaysia) was truly relaxing. The place is rich in its history. Centuries of colonization by the Portuguese, Dutch and the British as well as development of Straits Chinese (Peranakan) culture have influenced the architecture of the town. There are a number of artists who have their stores along Jonkers street. Was really inspired by the works of few artists.

The evenings were vibrant with a lot of food joints, cafe's and restaurants. The night market attracted the crowd saw a lot of artifacts imported from Indonesia. Indeed had a memorable trip.
